I have previously visited the Brighton Las Iguanas and was very excited to see one appear on South Bank. Went for a late lunch with friends just after it opened and was impressed with the cosmopolitan feel, friendly and enthusiastic staff and the happy hour 241 cocktails! We had a brilliant time and will be back very soon! Much bigger than the Brighton restaurant but has that same friendly party atmosphere.

Think TGI Fridays from the southern americas,as per the review, and you wont be disappointed. Provided you like the TGI Fridays formula then you will be happy, To be fair, the Tapas were good and if I had to go back again I would eat Tapas only as the mains are rubbish. And not cheap neither. Pele's favourite chicken with curry sauce was a chicken breast with cook-in sauce, and not much of it either. Another regional mexican chicken dish was identical but with a different cook-in sauce. Fajitas were ok, but at £18 a prawn Fajita ought to be good. In all the thoery is good but the food was disappointing. In contrast to the review, the service was good however.

Easily the worst evening out I have had in a long time. It should have been a relaxing meet up of old friends instead it turned in to a heated debacle. For starters the service was awful. We were seated but it then took us 10 minutes to get a waiter to take our order. We asked 3 different waiters who palmed us off saying that wasn’t their job. Finally we order and another 10 minutes later our drinks arrive. Then friends join us, we order food and a round of beers. 25minutes and 3 requests for our drinks later the drinks arrive. I had to ask the same waiter twice for an update on their arrival. The food came a while after and wasn't anything special considering the prices. The portions were very stingy. Having said that we were so hungry by then that we wolfed it down! When I asked to speak to the manager about the service I was left standing at the bar for ages before another waiter asked what I wanted, he then tried to sweet talk me in to filling out a complaints form claiming the manager was too busy to talk to me. I stood my ground and finally I found the manager. He had absolutely nothing to say for himself apart from the fact that he would talk to his staff. Thanks mate but that wont benefit me - i will not be back. Apparently a few other tables had left without paying that day due to the rotten service. I asked for the bill as we had already wasted 2 hours of our lives in this place. He then proceeded to walk away, never bring the bill and so we waited another 15mins for it while asking every waiter standing around doing nothing to bring it. It finally came and our waiter went to remove some of the drinks from the bill as good will gesture. Someone came over and told her off and then they disappeared for 5mins.... who knows when/if they came back as we were over it. We left what we thought was appropriate money on the table and walked away. This was a few weeks ago and I am still seething at the rubbish service and management. He had no people skills at all. I will never go there again, which is a shame as a group of us tend to eat round there a lot. Wagamummas it is from now on.

I booked for a crowd of friends as I'd been before and found the place quite good. Obviously something wrong with the management of at least the Royal Fesitval Hall branch. After completely messing up my booking and being totally inflexible and unapologetic, on the night i informed they were were at the bar and when the table was ready would they let us know. I was brushed off and told I had to speak to someone else. On finding this person we were finally seated. Service was slow and poor, drinks orders were taking 15minutes to turn up, later in the evening we ordered more drinks, about 10 minutes later the waiter came over and told us we could get our drinks from the bar, no apology. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE THE TIME OF DAY!
