I spent a fab Friday evening here on Jan 21st after it being recommended to me by a friend. I arrived early to meet my friends (girls night!) and was greeted by one of the owners, Scott, who's warm friendly manner put me at ease straight away (I don't like going into pubs alone to meet friends and to be the first! ) The atmosphere was lovely- warm, and comfy, like a home from home. I settled on one of the big sofas with my beer and awaited my friends arrival. The food we ordered was gorgeous- I had Pizza, which was a thousand times better than Pizza express ( for those of you who love pizza- you have to try one of 'The Parks') Towards the end of the night, when we really should have been leaving, we didn't feel pushed to go, and both Nick & Scott made us feel truly at home. I recommended a night out in 'The Park'

You're right, or at least you were, West Norwood may as well be on the moon as far as great pubs are concerned, but hopefully the arrival of The Park will see that changed. I am so thrilled to see that someone has had the foresight to bring noughties drinking to the area and I for one am going to do all I can to see this place succeed! I have been there for girls nights, quiet Sundays and post work wind-downs and I am yet to find the place anything but clean, comfortable and welcoming. The drinks are always superb, the pizza divine (having developed a bit of a pizza snobbery whilst working in New York I am happy to say that I will not be feeding my pizza addiction anywhere else!) and the service second to none. The new owners, Nick and Scott are obviously passionate about their trade and go out of their way to make your time at The Park everything you want it to be. They are always up for a chat and have some great plans for the future of the park, I can't wait to see it progress over the coming months. If you are planning a night out in the area and, like me, have spent many a night moaning about the lack of decent drinking establishments in West Norwood, I suggest you get down to The Park and test it out for yourself. I know you will love it!

Review

Pizza's were absolutely delicious. The bar snacks/ mezze were mediocre. The service was 100% and the staff were very keen to make sure we were having a good time.
