Review
Eleven of us went here last night for a friend's pre-nuptial celebration. Read about Ragam in a rave review in the Guardian. All round very disappointed. The restaurant proposed a 'set' menu for £15 each due to the number of us. We were happy to accept to avoid the usual 'who's having the.........?' We were all disappointed with the quantities of food and not overly impressed with quality. The bill was very high at just over £300. We're sure they counted up the beers wrong as we didn't have 2 Cobras each. So with 1 bottle of wine and about 6 desserts where did the other 12 quid each come from? Couldn't be bothered to start arguing the toss, just didn't leave service as it seemed they had already taken it. Try Tayyabs in Whitechapel; better food, better value.
