What a lovely surprise. This place is amazing, I had 3 course meal and each one of them was fabulous, still can't decide which one I enjoyed more. The Tavern itself, looks like a gastro pub but they have cellar and restaurants in the small yard behind which is brilliant if you want something more sophisticated. The cuisine is french and definitely deserves a Michellin star (maybe already has some). The portions were not big, but considering I had three courses it was just perfect. I didn't expect much and I got best meal in London in 3 years. Definitely will come again

Review

Great place in summer,somehow attract nice crowd, you'll end up chatting with people around, cocktails were good, price reasonable, nothing wrong with food either, great service. Nice place to go in the sunny afternoon/evening to socialize. Just toilets needs little bit of improvement and some ventilation.
