One of the oldest, best-known pubs in Rome, the Fiddler's Elbow has a basic wooden-benched interior that hasn't changed for years. Though Italy's smoking ban means it's no longer a fume-filled dive, it still succeeds in giving the impression of being one.

A great and authentic place! I met plenty of international musicians there, especially on thursday night when there is some sort of Open Mic night. It's really a secret gem, thanks for pointing it out!
