On the first floor of an imposing palazzo, Residenza A is a 'boutique art hotel' with splashy modern works enlivening its slate-grey and black colour scheme. The rooms have been luxuriously finished, with great extras such as Apple flat-screen computers and free internet, and, in the bathrooms, roomy showers and Bulgari bath products. Specify one of the four rooms overlooking the street for a (soundproofed) view of via Veneto. Reception is open 8am-10pm; guests are given a set of keys to come and go as they like at other times.
