This small museum is a treat for musicians and music-lovers. A recent wash-and-brush-up means that this formerly musty collection now has video loops and good explanations in English. From prehistoric to Baroque, an astonishing variety of drums, lutes, flutes and spinets showcases the evolution of instrument-making in Italy, the rest of Europe, Africa and Japan.
