La Rinascente review Rate it
This old favourite has hats, sun cream and make-up, plus limited ranges of designer and mid-range clothing. There's also a good selection of lingerie. This shop's days are numbered though: the historic palazzo that houses it has been purchased by Spanish clothing retailer Zara; by 2009 (or thereabouts), La Rinascente will move into larger, more luxurious premises on nearby via del Tritone. The piazza Fiume branch (06 884 1231) in the northern suburbs has a large homewares department.
