Argus Lounge review Rate it

Known by some as the Peacock because of the illuminated feather out front (there's no other sign), the Argus is far enough down Mission to escape the gentrifying masses. A clean, simple hangout, it draws a happy crowd, including local indie-rock heroes. A superlative jukebox and back-room pool table add to quirky touches such as a working 1950s exercise belt. Shake it, baby.
