1,000-foot slip-and-slide coming to SF

A gigantic slip-and-slide is coming to San Francisco. We repeat, a giant, padded slip-and-slide is coming to our very own metropolis!

Slide the City sold out last summer when it hit Salt Lake City, Utah. We can only imagine the madness that will ensue when the 1,000-foot family-friendly slide takes over a San Francisco street this July (get those costumes ready).

An exact date has yet to be revealed, but you’ll want to keep an eye out for early bird tickets, which range from $15 for one ride to $35 for VIP all-day access, and include the use of a water gun. Note: All sliders must have an inflatable tube (we’re sure you can find one left over from Burning Man). Ticket prices rise significantly on the day of the event, though we suspect it’ll sell out anyway.

Slide the City will proceed rain, shine, or as this is San Francisco in July, 55 degrees and windy.
