Campton Place Hotel review Rate it
Although it sits just half a block from Union Square, this refined hotel attracts a very discreet and wealthy following. Neatly tucked into a small space on Stockton Street, it offers exceptional service, including valet-assisted packing and unpacking. Dogs are allowed to stay with their owners; staff will even walk them. Room amenities are excellent, and there's an elegant restaurant downstairs, plus a handsome cocktail lounge. Luxury brand Taj Hotels, which acquired the property in 2007, plans to renovate rooms and public areas as early as 2008.
