Elbo Room review Rate it
Although the Elbo has been commandeered by yuppies, it continues to be a place to hear good music on a lively stretch of Valencia Street. You're likely to hear jazz (usually with a beat-driven edge), pure funk, soul or Latin jazz in the open-raftered space upstairs, but also hip hop, hard rock, metal and random whacked-out experimentalism. On Sundays, it's the legendary Dub Mission DJ night.
