Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center review Rate it
Jam band groupies and folk fans will find plenty to love at this East Bay institution, which has been putting the groove into groovy since 1973. It's just steps away from the 924 Gilman Street Project, but music store aisles away in terms of genre. Known for its folk dance nights, Grateful Dead tributes and zydeco bands, the centre also serves up Western swing, African, Balkan and klezmer sounds.
