Laurel Inn review Rate it
A motor inn renovated in mid-century modern style a few years ago, this neighbourhood gem (now run by Joie de Vivre) packs plenty of hip into a modest shell. The rooms are chicly appointed, with great bathroom amenities and modern accessories; some have kitchenettes and city views. Located well off the Downtown path, the Laurel nonetheless has easy transport options just out front. The lobby level is home to the popular G Bar, which brings in the scenesters on weekend nights. Service is excellent, continental breakfast is included, and there are great restaurants close at hand.
