For years, the Haight-Ashbury district was ground zero for the city's rock scene, but these days hip hop is creeping in and proving itself a Haight Street mainstay, due in no small part to Milk's hip hop- and R&B-friendly bookers. Flash modern decor and a decent-sized dancefloor characterise the space, while big-name guests such as DJ Shadow have been known to drop in at events put on by True Skool and Future Primitive Sound.

One of my friends went there and she said it was a lot of fun! I have yet to make it there. I should put it in my BlendAbout (http://www.blendabout.com) Wishlist and hopefully that'll get me there. There's a lot of good places on Haight too. I think it's fun to go there at night.
