Ferry Plaza Farmers' Market review Rate it

Since the restored Ferry Building reopened in 2002, the Ferry Plaza farmers' market has become a sightseeing attraction in its own right. White tents spill out into the open air from both the north and south arcades, with locals and tourists grazing from stalls of aged goat's cheese, freshly baked bread slathered in flavoured olive oil, organic persimmons, pasta and gourmet sausages. There's lots of bustle, especially on a Saturday: agoraphobics should visit on a non-market day to check out the excellent food shops and restaurants inside the Ferry Building. Note that hours for individual shops and eateries within the Ferry Plaza Farmers' Market may vary.
