Last Planet occupies a high-ceilinged corner of an old, decorative 1928 YMCA building. The 100-seat house has been comfortably renovated, with good sightlines and an exceptionally large stage. Edgy modern pieces by established playwrights, including many an overlooked gem from the dreamier fringes of contemporary drama, are filtered through the company's audacious and rather arch sensibility.
