The latest meet-up of the National Book Development Council’s book club delves into ethnicity and heritage in ‘Behind a Cultural Cage’, by Pranav S Joshi. Drawing on his own observations and experience, his story traces protagonist Kenneth Lai’s search for identity as a Chinese-Indian man, traversing India and Singapore.
