If you have time to kill before going to a movie at VivoCity, stop by nearby Page One – a massive bookstore known for its range of art and design books (though with 18,000 titles, it probably has whatever you’re looking for). The store stocks everything from classic English novels to Chinese-language fiction to comics and periodicals. It’s one of our favourite places in town to get lost in.

Both Page One at Vivo and Kinokuniya 3rd floor Ngee Ann City Takashimaya Shopping Centre are great alternatives to Boarders. Kinokuniya has one of the best mag sections in Singapore
It is an amazing store, we visited Singapore from Melbourne, Australia recently and stumbled across Page One @ ViVoCity and have never seen anything like it. It is like a book supermarket every subject you can think of was available. If you like reading and have a love for books it is a must to visit when in Singapore. It is a great way to fill in a few hours....loved it!
