Having sprouted up just about everywhere in Singapore, it’s no surprise Harry’s found a corner in Suntec City Mall to call its own. And it’s a corner, all right. Occupying a smidgen of a spot in the newly renovated Galleria section of the mall, it faces Nicoll Highway, so you sip your brew while staring out at the passing cars, which may be the most entertaining thing you can do here. The usual trappings of the pub chain remain – bar, booze, mahogany furniture and LCD TVs screening sports games, and not much else. It’s a gathering point for groups of buddies meeting up for their usual ales, especially during ‘Harry’s Crazy Hour’, where housepours, wine and half-pint beers go for $6 each from 5-7pm.
