You may not find another bar in Singapore that is as adept at blending elements of Eastern decor with modern touches. But here, sleek, black leather-bound armchairs sit next to Oriental lacquered cupboards, and they appear to mingle well. Once the shots and music hit though, you may stop noticing all that. (And for good reason; who’s at a bar to look at the furniture?) Populated by a mix of trendy locals and savvy foreigners, the upbeat dance music – they have a live band too, on weekends – gets everyone in the mood to boogie. If you’re not the dancing type, though, feel free to retire to either one of the two pool rooms and shoot a rack or two.
