Just had dinner there tonight, my second time - love the lush greenery and relaxed vibe. The food has improved since the last visit and the portions are generous, great value for money now. Tasty burgers and potato wedges. Service a patchy - you gotta flag down the wait staff - but friendly.
When I'm in singapore I always drop into Mel's for a few drinks and dinner in the outdoor setting, its also got a cool turtle pond.
Food and service was good. But i went there on the off season as in no festivals. No complaints.
