Stylistically spellbinding director (a little OTT maybe, but him and his 'eyeball mechanisms'?) Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth) reclaims his Hellboy series with more finesse and eye-popping (yes there it is again) visual effects. 'Red' as his affectionately known by his gang of demigods battle evil minions  and the Golden Army after a wicked prince awakens to claim what is rightfully his - our world.
