Journey to the Center of the Earth
In 1975, Rick Wakeman’s irrefutable dexterity on the electronic keyboard was the pretext for bringing Jules Verne’s wide-eyed 1864 adventure novel to a new audience. Now, with the aid of man-mannequin Brendan Fraser, this rousing, inquisitive tale of three explorers heading into the bowels of the Earth has been unfortunately beleaguered with more pointless gimmickry – this time the migraine-inducing sideshow of 3-D.

It's a little disappointed such a nice show does not come with 3D version in Singapore (yet). I have deliberately hold on my urge in watching it and patiently waiting for the news on its 3D release without success. The story is not exactly Jules Verne's version, with some editing to cater more to the current world. So the younger audiences will find it more to their appetite. I had specifically observed what in the movie made it worth watching the 3D version, and indeed, even for a normal 2D version, I was mesmerised by the occasionally creatures approaching towards the audiences, and had no doubt I'll be screaming at the top of my voice should I be watching the 3D version instead. Enough say, why don't they release the 3D version instead? Should it be finally release in Singapore, I'm not sure I'll be watching it again.. sigh..
