Red Cliff
In this highly anticipated historical epic, Woo heads home and back in time. It’s 208AD, and 100,000 peasants flee with leader Liu Bei from Cao Cao’s (Zhang) army with the aid of warriors like Zhao Yun (Leung) and strategist Zhuge Liang (Kaneshiro). They escape across the Yangtze to take refuge with Sun Quan, the leader of the south. Meanwhile, Cao Cao prepares an army to search and destroy.
