The Pump Room
The Pump Room has everything going for it: great microbrewery ales, clever staff, scrumptious food (including what the owner describes as 'The Best Burger in Singapore' - its a cross between a steak sandwich and a burger but it could well be) and a perpetually packed house.
For people-watching at Clarke Quay, The Pump Room and Highlander have cornered the market - the outside tables here are currently the best location.

Poor Drinkbelly you are completely classless! The point isnt the money - but JDs are not $3 each at Pumproom anyway. It is just not classy to charge for water - it puts off desirable customers. It doesnt put you off because you are not a desirable customer!
what is classy ...you must be earning poor wage that to complain about 3 dollars...i guess u better party at home alone bcoz i think ur friends who bought u that 16 glass of jack daniel as u proclaim..or issit a glass that u share with ur buddy...if u want classy time or class ..never complain about 3 dollars...

3 dollars a bottle and ur complaining...i suggest bring ur own glass and scoop from the toilet for that glass of water
Pumproom is following the awful practice of refusing to serve tap water and insisting on you paying $3 for bottled. This is never classy and never acceptable. Especially after ordering 12 JDs at the bar, to be refused a glass of water is a disgrace. Customers - never pay the service charge when you are asked to pay for water. Pumproom - stop it!
