Presented originally as a 15-minute solo dance in 2005, Joavien Ng’s piece has since evolved into a full-length duet routine with the collaboration of sound artist Zulkifle Mahmod, lighting designer Lim Woan Wen and set designer Ian Foo. A combination of still photography with actual bodies, and analogue sound with digital sound, this production crafts a reality where humans are cloned and used as lab rats.
