Make believe you’re Somerset Maugham (once a regular at the Raffles Hotel) strolling in for a meal at one of the hotel’s best eateries. The high ceilings conspire with the Old-World furniture to create a casually nostalgic vibe – just right for the menu of Asian classics such as nasi goreng, rojak salads, huge bowls of laksa noodles and chicken rice. Though pricier than the hawker-stall version, the experience is nevertheless captivating.
