Indian Grill
Its dull name, innocuous signage and blink-and-miss-it location are all forgotten when you sink your teeth into the dum ki raan, a rich, velvety hunk of lamb braised in garlic, malt vinegar and garam masala. Indeed, it says something that in a dining room crowded with huge mirrors, gilt sconces and gaudy gold walls, the north-western Indian menu – stuffed with kebabs and tandoor items – still manages to shine brightest. The yellow lentil dhal is delicately perfumed with onions and tomato; the saffron-hued tandoori pomfret is all snowy-fleshed and crisp-skinned; and the buttery garlic naans and mint-flecked parathas are just the thing to mop up the yummy sauces.

Just avoid the place. they charge like a fine dining place while they don't even change the paper placed on the table. this evening we found some toothpcisk and a lots of curry stains on our table, we have been changed to a second table with same condition. look around you will notice that they just wipe the "paper" and keep it for next customer .. food was very disappointing. soup are more like water with nothing in them other than spices. food did not taste fresh at all. tomato soup and goan fish curry were more sour! the bill was a 97 S$ . Hygene = very bad. Food was cold. Food tasted horrible. Staff provided bad service.. I agree that Muthu's curry is the best indian restaurant..however avoid it on weekend as the area is really packed.
I visited the Indian Grill based on your review and ended up very disappointed. The yellow dal was soupy and thin, the tandoori pomfret was not fresh and the tandoori chicken oozed water. I asked for a bowl of butter chicken gravy to accompany my roti - they happily charged me five bucks for this lousy curry. My bill for 2? $81.80. I am never going back there again. Seems like the only place to get decent Indian food is Muthu's curry @ Racecourse road and Lucky Prata @ Lucky Plaza.
