With a name like this, it’s unsettling to walk into a space so distinctly mod-Japanese. There are comfy couches, and walls lined with floor-to-ceiling anime books and Japanese magazines. But it’s the little café to the side that holds the attention. There are curries (Japanese-style, which is to say not a hint of heat), tonkatsu sets and lovely bricks of tofu and soya sauce.
