A-roy Thai’s nondescript interior (in the middle of Funan electronics mall) belies the superb quality of its kitchen. The flavours ring true, the high notes of sour, sweet, salty and chili heat recalling all that is good in Thai cuisine. House specials include a nasal-clearing tom yam, jade-green curries perfumed with lemongrass, delicately stuffed chicken wings, rice crackers topped with a coconutty pork mince, and fish steamed in chilis.
