Season's eatings

Continuing with the theme of stuffed turkeys, across the waterway on Sentosa, il Lido is serving a series of set lunches and dinners with the marquee bird happily trussed up with pancetta, truffles, apple and chestnut puree.
This year, Awfully Chocolate’s log cakes come in chocolate, chocolate banana, and chocolate rum and cherry ($48.80-$61.80). For the kids, pick up a cookie-baking kit ($21.90, includes ingredients and utensils), chocolate-themed T-shirts or mini-chef hats and aprons ($8.90-$12.90).

Sometimes, when you’re a little high on eggnog, there’s nothing worse than having to carve a turkey, so we’re grateful that the Deli at Goodwood Park’s Deluxe Butterfly Smoked Turkey Platter features a ready-fortakeaway de-boned bird. The flesh is wrapped around the stuffi ng of cranberries, ham, chestnuts, corn and celery. No carving whatsoever required, and it feeds eight.
The Deli, Goodwood Park Hotel, 22 Scotts Rd (6737 7411). $328, till 31 Dec.
