Stepping into woodwould is like walking back in time. All around the store, you’ll see old-skool typewriters, vintage furniture pieces and classic Ladybird storybooks. Sadly, most of these are not on sale, but what they do hawk are beautiful paper goods – ranging from cards to notebooks, organisers to photo albums. If you’re after something out of the ordinary, this is defi nitely the store. Seek out a wind-up tin carousel, a tin robot, or even strangely shaped pencil sharpeners and crazy pop-up wedding albums. Prices range from $4 for a card, $25 for a linen-covered journal and $250 for the aforementioned wedding album.
