TRUE SPA.... SUCKS! Just NOBODY pick up the phone, so how to fix appointment! Are they trying to play punk! Been calling for weeks... GOSH!
And pls keep track of yr sessions cos i was told i had no more mani/pedi sessions left and when i checked THEIR forms, i still had a couple of sessions left.
and u know how i got tricked into this! the consultants LIED that i could sell/give up my package if i was not happy and after a few mths that i went back to complain, the manager tells me that there is no such thing.
Oh gosh!! i had nooo idea sooo many ppl were having probs and i thot i was the only one. i) they have a terrible booking system. u cant make appt more than 1 week earlier on phone and more than 2 weeks earlier if u come down personally ii) noone there ever picks up the phone iii) they dont take down yr bookings so there was once when there was no appt made.
IF YOU HAVE ANY COMPLAINE PLEASE GO TO CASE WEBSITE consumer act of singapore where they give assistance and protection for clients being misled and decieved by any company like TRUE SPA
I had a truly appalling experience as well today. And I was going to write them a feedback and horror, I couldn't find an email address to complain to! Which decent multinational group does not have an email for feedback? If anyone knows where I can vent my frustrations, pray tell.
I understand the frustration in others. Currently,all my appointments hv been smooth since I claim to talked to the owner. What I want do is to finish this spa asap.After every seson,I'll go to the recep to book for the next one.Lucky me, my consulton is very good.Yes,there will be alot of ppl if you wanna bk last minute.What I did now is to book 3-4 sessions a mth advance. I would just cancel at least 2hrs b4 if I can't make it.(It is in the contract that we can cancel at least 2hrs b4 the session)... I hope i can finish in 2 1/2 yrs time... U can share with yr friend if she wants to go(well she can pay to you) just to finish the sessions.
I wish i had visited this website before I signed up TS package. I also realised no one ever picks up the phone, I also thought they closed down and had to go to their Taka outlet personally. There is such stark contrast between their before & after service. I stopped going to such places for many yrs but I decided to try TS cos they were so friendly & persistent at first. It turn out they are just another one of those blood sucker spa plc. SIGH!! what can we do now???
WAH always try to book but always full. Sucky place. I hope it closes down. F**ked up. Along with their sister company True Yoga. Money cheaters.

try to visit my orjoblogg so many VICTIMS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT MAKING YOU SUBCRIBE AND EVEN PAYING THEM WITH OUT yOur prior AcKnowledgement they charged you first and on the latter part they will tell you can cannot withdraw anymore but how can you decline if they already charged you,, its okay that they charge you but there is service even rendered WHERE CAN WE COMPALAIN THEM?
Count me in as another dissatisfied customer x2 for my girlfriend's portion too.. Sigh, cannot get thru the booking line, spa consultant not able to make any decision! Asst Operation Mgr's attitude also brush off with just "I am not aware..." Wonder how TS manage to open 1 branch after another. The way they operate their business, no business ethics, no conscience...
oh gosh....i have been experiencing the same problem of not able to reach them on the phone for the pass few days as well....their service is getting from bad to worst
I went to Small Claims Court to get my refund. The True Spa staff there actually lied to the referee that they had fixed their appointment system and promised that problems will not arise again. That was in Mar 2008!! Looks like many more victims have been affected. I don't understand why the legal system is blind to such a dishonest business
I got the same issues as the rest. I called them several times but the line is always engaged. I went up to TS to check if it's closed down... But the reception and sales people are busy to get more sales from new 'victims'. I waited for 20 mins and was not served. At the same time, i saw some pple who came to complain as well. I just want to finish up my leftovers as soon as possible. YUKS!!! Don't be fooled by their first friendly and warm service.
I just got into this website by chance. Din know that so many 'victims' with True Spa. I'm facing the same problems as what mention here. Total different before and after service. Hopefully more people will read this forum before they take up any package with True SPA.
I'd like 2pointout on a wrongful fee imposed by TS on their members. I heard fm a few pple dat they paid $53 for their TS membership card! Membership card is non-chargeable! I was not asked to pay for it at all. The card should be part of the membership entitlements, how could they charge for it! To need to pay even $1 for it, its ridiculous, let alone to pay $53 for it!
the truth about this place is that they put all their resources into recruiting new members (who will be feeding the company's coffers) and subsequently ignore existing members. This 'appointment vanishing act' has happened to me so many times, it's a wonder I persist in going back - why should i walk away and benefit those idiots! However, I must say that some of their therapist are good. But isn't it amazing this place is thriving despite all this bad service. It bought out PF and heard they are opening another spa!
I just signed up a package with them yesterday. and i already experience such bad incidents with them. Bad customer service...dishonest consultant....etc....sigh..
Hi All Should u still be going for svcs at TS, ask for sms/email confirmations from their end! So that if they screw up the bookings, you have valid grounds to fight a case against them!

GOODNESS!! I tried like forever to contact them to make appt. Every time, the line will just cut off by itself!! WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS!! I'm really wasting my time with them.I had to go down personally to book appt. T everybody out there, please do not join any of their package. Their services sucks!! Their front counter staff was non chalant when I told them about them being uncontactable...Truspa, MY ASS!!!
Hi Belinda u r NOT the only 1 suffering fm their terribly lapse of BASIC customer svc! I've heard even worse scenarios than urs... I'm a victim myself too! A group of us (gathered from a couple of different internet forums) are in the midst of pursing legal case against TS, to demand for compensation and full refunds. Its less than $50 PER PARTICIPANT. The more participants there are, the cheaper it cost per pax.
So, when,I reached there 1.30pm, the manager come.He said the hydrobath piping was having a renovation(last 2 days I called for confirmation, why didn't the Agent told me abt it?).Instead, I told him I'll just get the message. He checked the rooms but only available at 2.15pm. So my friend and I went for a light meal at Takashimaya basement.@ 2pm, a guy fr True Spa called me then to appologize and said that actually for the 2.15pm room, he looked at the wrong date.I was shocked and cancel the whole appointment.This is my second time hydrobath is having problem. Once in June when I went.Going forward, if this case going to happen for the third time, I think something have to be done here.
In abt 30 mins time, I will be doing my hydrobath, massage and facial in Tru SPA.. I am suppose to have a Couple room which i booked 2 wks back.. only ard 11.30, they called me and said they do not have any couple room.. This is the second incident. I'll share more later tonight for the coming experience....
in one word, the company is UNREACHABLE. I spent a whole 7 days trying to book an appointment- no one picked up. I went to Trust Spa, they said their phone line was down- yet they were all managing to chat on the phone somehow. They wrote my booking down and never confirmed. As this has happened before I asked if someone would actually ring me back, the lady behind counter reassured me. NO call and they are still unreachable...the phone rings forever with no one picking up. An extremely poor mark for the singapore service sector, such places should be shut down.
Having purchased a preview package, I have to say that it was disappointment as promises made were not fulfilled and all efforts to engage management are ignored and fell on deaf ears. I regret purchasing the package and can't wait to finish and may even consider abandoning it. You can't make an appointment as no one answers the phone and the service is indifferent at best. Truly a case of - True Spa??? I will avoid it and all companies under its management in future. Let this be a warning to all spa goers.
I have made the appt like 1 mth notice and yet there's still no confirmation till the week i suppose to go for my massage. Yet when the telemarketers call, appt is fixed on the spot confirmation received. What is this management doing?
Don't think I'll ever try true spa after all these horror stories! I'm always extremely careful about free offers or extremely low cost massages for first timers. Getting hounded to part with alot of money after that is just not worth it. Best to find a place you like and trust and stick with that!
My colleague and I were invited to complimentary massages at True Spa but we never got around to experiencing the massage due to the horrendous service by the staff at True Spa @ Ngee Ann City. Appointment was confirmed for 7:00 pm for 2 persons. We arrived at 6:50 pm and were told to sit down and wait. About 20 minutes later, a woman gave us a form to fill-up. She came back shortly afterwards to collect the form and said that the therapist will come for us soon. We waited until 7:40 pm, still no one came forth for us. We kept waving to the numerous staff that walked pass but were totally ignored by them. We went up the staff at the counter and were rudely told that their telemarketers always screw up the schedules and there's nothing they can do about it. We just have to wait for our turn. (Note: None of the staff we approached were even smiling while talking to us, except of an elderly tea-lady). At 8:00 pm still no one came for us. At 8:15 pm, one therapist came over and said that she can do one of us now. When we asked how long it will take for the next, she said don't know. In the end, after much irritation and frustration over having wasted our entire evening for nothing but more stress and treated with utter rudeness by the staff of True Spa, both of us left the place. This is certainly no way to run a business. No doubt the appointment was for a complimentary massage, meaning it's free, but that's no way to treat would-be clients. This was just completely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Man this True Spa thing is more like True Hell for me. I told them to delete my name from their telephone listing one time too many. Guess what, it went to deaf ears. I have no choice but to resort to calling them every other time in the hope that they can remember my name. Finally, because of my constant calls, one of the “Mgt staff” decides to take my call only after hiding behind her staff for so long (so much so for leading them instead!). She told me that my name will be deleted from the contact list. Guess what, i have those guys calling me again!!! Worst still, one of the telemarketers staff told me not to pick up the call when they call me. I was stunt by her comments!! They are the ones calling me and they tell me not to pick up their call? This is just crazy.
They entice you for a complimentary massage then hound you to purchase a package. Once you've paid for the package then they forget about you. I tried to ring them up for an appointment BUT all I got is the awful tiring ringtone of the phone. Sigh! i thought it was a bliss more likely an added STRESS.
