Get your lickers ready – Bjorn Shen, him of Artichoke and Time Out columnist fame, is opening a pop shop in place of the Overdoughs bread stand at his Middle Road restaurant.

The cheekily named Neh Neh Pop takes the idea of mutant ice cream creations – like the chicken skin, coconut and caramel sundaes he dishes out at Bird Bird pop-ups – and runs to ice cream heaven with it. At the time of writing, the popsicle flavours are still a work in progress, but word has it that the double-coated cream pops will come in flavours like mango sticky rice, baklava chunks, Snickers, and brown butter donut.

It sounds like these milk products are going to bring the boys (and girls) to the yard.

161 Middle Road (6336 6949, artichoke.com.sg). Opening hours TBC.
