Get messy with the kids in our June issue

Putting together a kids-themed issue is tough, considering we’re no spring chickens ourselves. So rather than speak to parents, we asked these five tykes to show us what they love to do in the city.

The siblings, seven and four respectively, compared a kids’ menu at a Dempsey restaurant to… McDonald’s.

Emma Kua
The shy eight-year-old loves to paint and draw. So we sent her to an art workshop to bring out her inner Da Vinci.

Namira Rasheed
Sitting still isn’t one of Namira’s interests, but baking is. Which made the six-year-old perfect for a gourmet baking class.

Sean Ruiyang
He’s eight and has the energy of as many cans of Red Bull. At least he unleashed it in the right place: a giant playground.
