We've known for a while that we have some pretty darn good restaurants in Singapore, and the awards ceremony for Asia's 50 Best Restaurants just confirmed it. The unveiling of this year's list saw our food-crazy city bag ten spots on the list, with Restaurant Andre peaking the local entries at number five.

The winning chefs and restaurateurs celebrate at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015 awards ceremony, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.

Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Tetsuya Wakuda's Waku Ghin at the Marina Bay Sands took the ninth spot on the list, and JAAN at Swissotel Stamford climbed six spots to 11th place. And if you're craving for more smoke and meat at Burnt Ends, good luck ever getting a seat there again – chef Dave Pynt's tiny Teck Lim restaurant entered the list for the first time this year, reaching an impressive 30th place for its first showing.

Chef Gaggan Anand (Gaggan, Bangkok) receives the awards for The S.Pellegrino Best Restaurant in Asia and The S.Pellegrino Best Restaurant in Thailand. Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, announced the winners at Capella, Singapore

Elsewhere in Asia, 2014's best restaurant, Nahm (Bangkok) by David Thompson took a tumble down to the seventh spot on the list, while its fellow Thai capital modern Indian restaurant, Gaggan rose to this year's pole position.

Here's a list of the Singapore-based restaurants that made it to the list:
