The first single off Hiraeth, 'Untide' is Chris Jones' fave track from the double EP, and the one he feels the deepest connection to. It's all about nature versus man-made beauty, juxtaposing lush greenery and the silhouettes of skyscrapers in the music video. An apt representation of the song, which was inspired by his memory spending last summer in his hometown in Wales and watching the sun set at 11pm.

'The colours of the sky were so intense and incredibly beautiful, unlike anything I had seen before. This inspired me to think about the changes going on in my life, and the themes of contrast and new beginnings, which is largely what the song is about,' he explains. 'I wanted its visual interpretation to be done in such a way that represented this bond I feel towards the song. This was why the director Oscar Cannon and I approached the process in a very natural way with little planning. We took the equipment to our favourite places in Singapore – places that very much inspired the writing – and just filmed during sunsets and did our best to capture some of the raw emotion behind the track.'

It's the perfect track to indulge (or chase away) your mid-week blues.
