Gather your little Einsteins, and mini Curies for the return of the Singapore Science Festival. A joint presentation by Science Centre Singapore and A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology, and Research), the festival goes online from July 25 to August 8 with a digital version of its signature events including the edutaining X-Periment!, the STAR Lecture guest performance, Science Buskers Festival, the Royal Institution Science Shows, and more.

All budding scientists – young and young-at-heart – are invited to explore the wonderful worlds of biology, physics, and chemistry through programmes that centre around the theme 'Empowered by Science'. Discover the endless possibilities stemmed from various innovative ideas – think a simple dot that can become so much more, even changing our lives forever. Eureka!

Can't get enough of science? Check out other exciting offerings by Science Centre Singapore on July 25 including the Pom-fect Journey, and Science at Your Doorstep which comes with activity kits delivered to your doorstep upon order.

Join Pom the Pomegranate in the online workshop Pom-fect Journey, and learn about seed dispersal and the characteristics of different seeds. Then complete the experience by growing your very own pomegranate with the activity kit that comes with one child and one adult KidsStop admission tickets (with a six-month validity) for $53.50.

With Science at Your Doorstep, here's your chance to turn your home into a genetic laboratory and decode the secrets of DNA with an exclusive Curious Geneticist Kit at $25. The kit contains hands-on activities for the family, videos explaining relevant science concepts, and instructional booklet, and an online Young Geneticist card.

That's not all – Science Centre Singapore is also introducing the I Am A Young Mixed Reality Creator workshop from July 20 to 24. Take a deep dive into modern technology and learn about augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), even creating your very own AR project by the end of it. As part of the annual Caltex Singapore's Fuel Your School Tech programme, the workshop is conducted as a home-based learning virtual classroom setting with at least three Science Educators in each class, guiding participants to fulfil the following objectives. Receive an e-certificate and badge when you complete all the objectives.
