Time Out says

When translated into English, Chinese restaurant Hao Yun Lai has a dual meaning: either ‘welcome good luck’ or ‘welcome a smooth pregnancy’. Both work in this case, given that head chef Chai Ngen Kin’s (formerly of Restaurant Ten and Tunglok Classics) selling point is a herb-infused menu that focuses on nutritional dishes made with ingredients known for their healing properties – ideal food for pregnant women (there’s even a nursing room). Mains include the vitamin-rich claypot sakura chicken ($14.80) and the charcoal beancurd ($14.80) braised with bamboo fungus and pine mushrooms that’s supposed to be good for your brain. There are also four kinds flower teas ($2.90) – Eight Treasures, Luo Shen Hua, Mei Yan Quan and Tian Qi – to pair with your food, and interesting desserts like the blueberry and yam sweet paste ($4.80).
