What magic do they weave with the ramen in the kitchen to make it so bouncy and lush? Each big bowl is already a meal in itself, the earthy broth (there are only three soup options – chicken, spicy chicken or nuts) spiked with either pork balls or boiled pork slices. It’s the connoisseur’s version of Maggi Mee. And if you’re feeling hungry, there are additional toppings to be had, ranging from an almost-coddled egg to omelettes and dominos of soy pork belly braised in soy sauce. Reservations are not taken.
