On the main road heading north from the city centre, near the Art Hotel, this traditional wooden-bench konoba would be easy to miss. The menu runs the gamut from grilled čevapćići to grilled fish; the steaks are particularly excellent. It gets
busy with locals at weekends, so book or get there before 7.30pm. Occasional live
folk music is also laid on for locals' benefit.

I'm not sure who wrote this review but this had to be the worst meal we had the whole time here traveling from Zagreb to start then to Motovune on down. First they had no tartufi (truffle) so instead of us leaving right away which we should have we tried to order stuffed mushrooms and two Gorgonzola steaks. One mushroom came out with something resembling cream of soup mix and then one steak which had the exact same horrid sauce rendering it all unedible. No real gorgonzola in the whole dish. Do not go here. We should have realized when their were two people in the whole place. Time out shame on you.
