The city has so many small shops selling utterly tasteful, utterly humourless monochromatic objets, that it comes as a relief to find somewhere as big, vibrant and good fun as Stockhome. Located under the Regeringsgatan bridge, it's full of unusual household stuff, much of it made from brightly coloured plastic. There are things for every room in the house, plus an excellent range of children's products. Ideal for one-stop gift shopping.
