Patricia, perhaps best known for its gay nights on Sundays, serves up a major party on summer nights and winter weekends. The boat was originally launched in 1938 from Smith's Shipyard in Middlesbrough, and once worked as a lightship in the English Channel. Winston Churchill spent time on the ship during the war and the 35-seat private room has been named in his honour. In its current state Patricia is a restaurant, bar and nightclub all fused into one. It features four dancefloors and as many as seven bars on four levels in summer. During the weekends, covers bands rock the boat from 8pm. Patricia is a campy and fun place for all ages.
