Mohamed Elganouby: The Role of Mutation

Egyptian artist Mohamed Elganouby, now based in the US, makes his Japan debut at Bakurocho's Kanzan Gallery, where a selection of his paintings on photographic paper are on display through September 30. Those interested in Elganouby's unique technique can attend a workshop with the artist on Sunday September 4 (from 3pm, RSVP via email at info@kanzan-g.jp), while critic and art historian Michio Hayashi from Sophia University will be giving a talk together with the artist on September 7 (from 7pm, RSVP via email).
