Time Out says

One of the small clutch of surviving paintings by 17th century Dutch master Jan Vermeer van Delft makes its Japan debut at the National Museum of Western Art in Ueno this summer, as part of a show that raids the extensive collections of the National Museums of Berlin. 'Young Lady with a Pearl Necklace' is just one of over 100 paintings, drawings and sculptures on display, in an exhibition that charts developments in Italian and North European art from the Renaissance up until the 18th century.
