Time Out says

Hosted by local hip hop radio champs Hot 97, New York's annual Summer Jam is a true blowout that unites R&B and hip hop's biggest names with notable up-and-comers. Held since 1994, it's famed for booking notable acts at the height of their powers – Wu-Tang in ’94, Biggie in ’95, Fugees in ’96 and so on. This beat bonanza is now taking a step across the ocean, gearing up for its inaugural Tokyo edition at Odaiba's Zepp in July. The lineup includes Virginia native Pusha T, perhaps best known as the head honcho of Kanye's GOOD Music label, and Brooklyn's own mixtape monster-come-cheesy loverman Fabolous, plus French Montana, Omarion and local stars like Aklo and AK-69. Meanwhile, an all-night afterparty takes place at Shibuya's Vision and features the likes of Brooklyn big shot Joey Badass and Kyoto-based MC Anarchy.
