Tamapa Café & Bar

Modelled on London's 'Jump In' and the recent 'Beach' exhibition in Washington DC, Tokyo's version of a ball pit for grown-ups is called Tamapa and became a minor sensation this spring, when it took over Akasaka club Edition once every month between March and June for four seriously bouncy DJ parties. Those of you who didn't manage to grab a ticket for any of those ball bashes will be particularly happy to hear that Tamapa now returns in slightly more permanent form, opening a pop-up ball pit café and bar in Ebisu, right next to Liquidroom and our very own Time Out Café & Diner. It's bound to get crowded, so we recommend picking up a ticket in advance.
