When Iranians partied under the shah, this is what a cool Tehranian bar looked like (the bar is subtitled Iranian Kabob Vodka Bar). Transplanted to the 21st century, it still looks hip, with mod sectionals and beige vinyl booths set against tables tiled in turquoise ceramics. Mid-East downtempo beats keep the groove going while hipsters and Iranians scoff lamb testicles between vodka shots.
