In the early evenings a crowd of lawyers and bankers descends (the club's 'over-25' policy makes this inevitable), which means a little dancing and a lot of schmoozing. If you stay late enough, the romance of the place (1930s cathedral ceilings, chandeliers) may encourage you to take to the floor. There is a good-looking crowd, who clearly follows the club's suggestion: 'Dress as if you're expecting to meet someone, because chances are you will.'
